Jukai / Recycled Earth split 7"

1.
The words still ringing in my ears Walk the streets unable to feel I’ve learned so much from your life But it was snatched away and I still can’t hide Myself from the fact that this world doesn’t care About my struggles or the losses I bare The virtuous get washed away While the pieces of shit make it through unscathed. When I ask myself What does this world have left? It’s full of ignorant humans Who are better off dead When I searched to find What was left All I found was selfishness And disrespect Build your martyr with someone else’s misery shed crocodile tears to gain sympathy Can’t escape the heart wrenching pain And the lack of will to carry on Motivation is dead when your heroes are gone A virtuous man in his grave means more to the world than the scum who walk this earth today (One life not wasted) For one more laugh and the warmth of your embrace I’d put a thousand useless lives in your place A virtuous man in his grave means more to the world than the scum who walk this earth today (One life not wasted)

The new world conquered by the elite sword in hand, forced destiny Look to the past, Our foundation rests upon the blood soaked dirt and the bones of the oppressed Push the myth of the American dream Caste system created by Greed One nation under the dollar sign and liberty for none. There's no such thing as justice when it only works for some. Centuries pass, cries go unheard. Our leaders deaf to this fucking world. Deaf to this fucking world. Man pinned against the next, feel the pull the strings, Tension, hatred and the violence it brings. Early grave work guided by the dying hand of fate Feed the nation’s addiction to incarcerate Vultures Rape, appropriate the culture of those they oppress. Displace communities and call it progress. Benefiting at others expense Crooked profit, Columbus effect. Drown in ignorance. Stand behind hateful rhetoric and fascist ideology Instead of change, they'd rather see the strange fruit hanging from the tree. Can't afford to take care of the poor Beaten down and ignored Victim blame, fail to recognize that Not all bootstraps are the same length. Broken lives Paralyzed Beaten down Cast aside Choked to death as we watch our dreams die World enslaved with no shame Colorblind and ignorant The cowards deny Their privilege that gets them further in life Others Work harder to achieve the same Oppressed by a system that refuses to change

The cost of sanity in society is solitude sever ties We make you believe We own your culture We own your freedom to choose What is real We have been telling you what to feel Reclaim your mind from consuming all this trash that's made from the bones of a dying world.
4.
In enemy territory. Writhing in pain. Cries in the dark. If you're lucky never be seen again. When the blip on the radar goes dark and the clouds cover the stars. Shit just doesn't slip through the cracks or through my hands. Behind my back. Time not promised. Grind you honest . Search party. Send the search party out. Seek the rogue motherfuckers out. Hunted by dogs. Writhing in pain. Cries in the dark. If you're lucky never to be seen again. When there is nowhere else to look we still search. A light in the dark.
5.
Hard to be a god. Not honored with a human form. One path, told to kill. A gods eye view of all the shit and puke. Who has to die for who? You die for you. One hand washes the other in blood. Who will bless your actions and cradle you in their palm. Caress your fragile body until the storms calm. Will you be saved knowing you've done wrong? What's your plan of salvation? At the right hand of god. The hand that will crush you.
